Like most Canadian television series, The Collector is slow to roll out on DVD. Season 1 arrived last November. The third season has yet to be dated by the distributor, Morningstar Entertainment. "I think the show had a lot of validity in terms of its themes," Dubin offers. Fans have clamoured for more, whether it is a renewal of the series or a movie special (remotely possible only if The Collector finally gets picked up in the U.S.) "I am interested in the extremes that people will go to in their deals with the Devil and how they will pay the consequences 10 years later. People will run, people will try to deal with it, people will pretend that they never had the deal with the Devil or they will try to redeem themselves. Some of the most despicable characters don't necessarily get punished. And people really get into it. It's when audiences really get involved in whether the punishment fits the crimes."
